I'm planning a trip to New Hampshire and New York in the middle of May and was curious about how conditions normally are. I'm used to climbing in the Red and New during the summer so wet and hot conditions are the usual. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Should be good and dry everywhere. Wouldn't worry about it at all. Temps are great this time of year too

Don't forget the Deet. Black fly season begins in mid May through Mid June. Don't let a nice breeze fool you into thinking that they are not there because if that wind stops they will swarm. A good drenching with deet makes climbing very tolerable.
Enjoy!

May can be one of my favorite months. sunny , warm, dry, no buggs yet and then all of a sudden they hatch and it kind of sucks for the next 6 weeks.
