Absolutely love them more refined and machined than the Fixe version, great trigger/action and lobes give a sense of "grip" for confidence I have X4 is the two smallest sizes and while okay aren't all that short stem sucks for trying to place in deep pockets etc. Totems Rule. |

Has anyone gotten their hands on some of these bad boys yet? This refresh bumped Aliens up to the top of the list of "things to spend money that I don't have on." |

Seemed to be a pretty popular thread that generated quite a bit of traffic and activity. I definitely don't need more small cams for my personal use, but between my friend's and my stuff, I can review side-by-side with x4s, mastercams, and slightly janky older CCH aliens. |

Big heads up, had a new set of these last week climbing in red rocks, broke two of them in a single day. The sheath that connects the plastic trigger and the piece that connects the trigger wires to the sheath separated. It is not pressed together like the older ones which have a steel sheath. Kinda in disbelief that this was put out on the market.. |

Trying to understand your description...it broke here? |

Jaysen. you should email Fixe and ask them to replace those two. I know they're really good about that |

I saw the same separation happen this winter at J tree. Cleaned a cam that was stuck because the trigger assembly separated from the head. Will not be buying any of these... |

sorry dont have any photos, we lost one of them and my friend has the other. We emailed fixe but no reply. My past experience working with the company was pretty sketchy, also they have fallen through on a few promises made to semi sponsored friends of mine equipping new areas. |
