The conditions are great. Haven't been to the Leap myself this season, but some guys I was climbing with this weekend said it's dry and nice. Donner is nice and warm and somewhat dry depending on where you go up there. South Lake Tahoe is nice and dry, for the most part. The Pie Shop is dry. Seems to me that most everything at this point is pretty dry. DL Bliss is perfect. Conditions are right.
Went on a quick recon trip to the the leap today. East Wall is dry. the trail (at the base of the wall) past the east wall is fairly patchy with snow (so I wouldn't try and walk along the central wall to the main wall). Didn't really look at lower buttress or main wall. Hogsback is good to go. The only real issues are:
1. The descent looks fairly snowy. 2. The road into the climber's camp is pretty rutted out. I wouldn't take anything less than a truck onto that road. 3. Hogsback is getting sun around 10ish. 4. West wall is getting sun after 12:30.
