Princess Snowbird. Definitely open year round. Otherwise there's a bunch of National Forest around that you can camp in anytime you want but i'm not exactly sure of the boundaries as i've always just stayed at snowbird.

Thats what im leaning towards, yokum looks cheap and worth it for the facilities

I remember one of the guide services there having a small area to camp. Might want to check into that. Sorry I couldn't be of any more help.

Thanks guys... any locals have input on the weather up there?

We are going to be up there from the 15th-20th.

Planning on hitting Seneca, NRG, Linville Gorge, and Looking Glass

Theres quite a bit of snow as of now. I was in the area last week, but its really hit or miss around seneca and the NRG this time of year. It may be 40 or 50 degrees and nice or have 2 ft of snow on the ground.

Haha I guess we can deal with the snow if its not on the rock;)

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
