Behind the budda area.
Map available at Higashizushi station. Head up through a residential neighborhood to find the trail that starts next to somebody's house by a big concrete (I think) wall. <br> <br> At the toilet go straight. The climbing access trail is not fully shown on this map.
Typical handholds.
Stairs leading up from Oppama to Yakitori Yama.
Map found at Takatori Yama. A nice hike in from Higashizushi. Oppama is closer but has less walking on scenic trails and more walking in town.
The anchor situation is a strange mix of steel spikes and bolts. Most people use a short rope as a big cordelette kind of arrangement. The spikes are clove-hitched with the anchor rope. The rock is soft which leads to the spikes and common use of 3 fixed anchor points.
