NRG conditions

Planning a trip to the New in a week. I've checked out webcams close by (~50 miles or so) and some look like a good portion of the snow has melted, while others still have a good bit of snow. Any info would be much appreciated!

Deciding whether or not to head further south!

I'd like to widen the question to include conditions at the Red. I'm thinking the overhanging walls would be in better shape when the snows melting?

Guessing the NC and TN options are much safer but I'd like to keep the drive as short as possible.

I'm driving down (somewhere) march 12th.

NC is prime right now, no snow and good temps in the forecast

You and I both. I am interested in Obed, Foster's Falls, and RRG. Maybe I'll post a separate question tomorrow...

Bump.

Looking for updated conditions at the New.

Have you tried looking at the NRG page? I spend a lot of time updating it and making sure it is current.

As of today there is a ton of snow in both the RRG and NRG but its suppose to warm up to the 50s through next week so you may be fine

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
