Yosemite National Park has yearly closures for Peregrine Falcon Protection March 1- July 15. Always check the NPS website at nps.gov/yose/planyourvisit/… for the most current details and park alerts, and to learn more about the peregrine falcon, and how closures help it survive. Location
This is located in a small cave on the upper west side of Pothole Dome.
Park in the paved turnout across from Marmot Dome. Hike around the west (left) side of Pothole Dome for about 0.25 miles.

Protection
On lead: rack of singles to 3.5", if desiring a big first piece; otherwise 1.5" and smaller rest of way up. Note the expansion behind the lip at many spots of this irregular jagged crack.
Anchor bolts with only hangers just above the lip, with no rap rings/chains.
Natural anchor available at topout ledge above. Walk off to climber's right and toward backside, to circle clockwise down back to base.
