Getting back into climbing and am hoping for advice

A few years ago my wife and I climbed frequently in rock gyms in Texas. We did not live near any outdoor climbing and enjoyed the rock gyms. We then moved to Laredo and barely climbed for these past few years. We have since moved to Silver City, NM, and would like to get back into climbing. I have only climbed outdoors a few times and it has been years since we did anything but top-rope climbing. We were looking for a guide or instructor near this area to help us get our feet wet and re-teach us some of our forgotten skills. Would anyone be able to refer us to a guide or instructor in SW New Mexico or SE Arizona?

I greatly appreciate any advice or your referrals. I have searched the internet but haven't had much luck in locating anyone near this area. Thank you very much for your help.

SE Arizona sounds like Geir Hundal would be close to you. He's in Tucson but climbs a bunch in Cochise, a place you could hone your skills and enjoy. He's on this site.

In addition to the above recommendation, Aaron Mike at Pangaea Mountain Guides in Tucson:

and Rocks and Ropes in Tucson:

Thank you very much for all of your advice, I will be going in April with a guide from Pangaea. I will hopefully meet more people in the climbing community and see you all out there.

Consider opening a gym and definitely get a hangboard. Training is most important for proper enjoyment of climbing rocks.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
