Description Suggest change

Jazz Dome is a slab overlooking the North Fork of the South Platte just west of the small town (and rocks) of Dome Rock. It's south- and east-facing and has a few bolted slab routes.

Hubbel is mistaken concerning the access to this rock. There is private property very close to the rock, but the rock itself is located on Denver Water property and you can access the rock without trespassing. Denver Water claims to have no objections to climbing at Jazz. It also seems as if the current residents are much more laid back than Hubbel's supposed weapons brandishing owner. Message me for details.

Getting There Suggest change

From the intersection of Platte River Road and S. Foxton Road, drive just under 2.5 miles east. Just past a driveway on the left, park in a bend in the river on the right. Cross the road and do the short hike to the rock. You can see it from the road.
