Things got pretty soaked and it's still coming down, snow at the higher elevations. Stay off the rock until it THOROUGHLY dries out. It could take a while, be conservative! I've been up to Shunes a week after a storm and it was still too wet for comfort. The shady nooks take a while to dry out here.

A suggestion - if you want to post a conditions fyi like this in the forums, put a date in the title so it doesn't confuse people.

Curious about the forecast for the next week. It looks like rain and snow through the weekend, but sunny on Wednesday.

I'm flying into St. George on Friday AM, hoping to get in something before a friend's wedding over the weekend. Definitely looking at south facing walls (Three Marys area). Do you guys think things might dry out by then or should I plan on running to the (Utah) Hills for some limestone?

i am seeing 4 days of rain on the forecast. i would say that you are shit outta luck on climbing sandstone in this area. I was at the underworld for two days and it was great. I may even try and go again tomorrow.

Hmm, forgot about that area and good to know, I'll plan my trip (and rack) accordingly.
