creek in may - too hot?

planning on going to indian creek this coming may. will it be too hot to climb in the sun?

It depends on the day. Early May is really nice, you might even be cold in the shade depending on the day. Late may is really hot but it's fine. There is nothing wrong with shade.

I love getting back to camp in the daylight and hanging out in warm weather. May is awesome for that.

There are more black widows, scorpions, and snakes that time of year though, so watch your pets.

May is great. Sun feels good in the morning and then you just go to the shade if it gets hot, which it does not always. May is a very windy month and so if you have clouds you can stay at sunny walls all day.
