Small shoes in winter

Does anyone find that they need larger shoes in the winter due to the rubber contracting and being stiffer? Mine seem to bruise my little toe in the winter but not in the summer.

Maybe your little toe grows in the winter?

Yeah, I keep them inside my insulated jacket when I'm sitting around/belaying and they get big enough to put on
