My buddy and I are going to be in StG tom and wanted to do some climbing. We're both jongs, so just lookin for TRs in the 5.7-8 range and GVG seems to have a couple of routes we can do and overnight camping... but after reading the comments sounds like most of the TR routes have all had their anchors destroyed.... does anyone have current info?!? Also how would snow canyon be(tr's)? Any other recommendations? Anything from 5.5-5.9 TR...

Green valley gap is great for toproping and at least as of monday the anchors were all there. Snow canyon doesn't have any toproping without leading first so it's probably not the best choice. Black rocks might also be a good choice but i'm not entirely sure about accessing the anchors from the top.

Btw, just a heads up, we camped at the gap on sat night on the way back from the Tushars., and had teenage/20somethins try and steal our gear as soon as we let the fire die and climbed in our bags. Luckily I had my key fob next to me and heard them... set the panic alarm off and that and a few verbal suggestions and they were runnin across the valley full speed ...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
