Hitching rides from Terrebonne to SRSP and back.

What are my chances of thumbing a ride from Terrebonne to Smith Rock on a weekday?

Also, what are my chances of being murdered?

Does NE Smith Rock Way get a lot of traffic? Either way I'm gonna be walking down there.

Long story but I'm in Bend for another month, itching to climb. Just don't have a car.

Any info for getting around would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Shouldn't be a problem. The locals always picked me up and we're very kind.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that you will not be murdered.

If I don't post again soon, I'm probably dead.

Also,

If anyone needs a belay, photographer and/or mild entertainment for the day, hit me up. I've got all my gear here (70m rope, cams, nuts etc), but I've only ever climbed trad, leading up to about 5.6

I'd be more than happy just to belay someone for the day in exchange for a ride and someone to show me around the park.

Cheers.
