Thank you all for your patience, your contributions, and most importantly your support for this project. I realize we hoped/said the book should have been out a long time ago. There was a huge amount of new material that kept flowing in and we really changed the whole way the Park has ever been documented. We think you'll love the new style and all 450 pages of content. This was a team effort like no other book - so thank you again to all that helped both publicly and behind the scenes. The book is at the printer and will be on the shelf this spring. The book, along with some sample pages, are on the Fixed Pin website if you'd like to place a preorder at a discounted price.

I know it's only been 10 minutes since my last post but this is exciting enough for two posts. Cover looks great and I can't wait to check out a copy. Any idea on a possible ship date or does it really depend on the printer?

What? No more wandering around, wondering if you're on the route or not, with a sweaty photocopy from rr's book in your pocket...

According to the site, late June / early July

We thought we better be conservative with the ship date so as to not make people mad. There are two things that can/will slow the arrival down - the Chinese New Year (which is way longer than a day or even a week in terms of work stoppage) as well as the problems with the ports in L.A. There are some worker union concerns out there, with intentional slow downs, which are expected to get worse before they get better. For instance, our last book sat in the harbor for nearly 3 weeks before being unloaded and shipped to us. We were told the expected ship date is May 1, but we'll see

Will there be a new guide to the crags in RMNP as well?

Looking forward to the high peak guidebook

Wow super excited! Just pre-ordered it. Will you let those of us know who pre-ordered it when it will ship?

Wow. I have been waiting for this for years. I am interested to see if my Ships Prow routes have a little note in there. Placing an order now. The sample pages looks great. Pictures look great.

How many new routes were included compared to the old high peaks guide?
