Hi, I'm planning a trip out to the Tower in March. When i look online it looks like both the NPS and KOA camp grounds are closed until May 1st. I certainly can't be the first person who wants to climb before that time. What's the camping situation at the Tower before May 1st? Thanks.

+1 on Devil's Tower Lodge. Frank has tent sites off to the side of his yard, and an outdoor shower available for a donation. There is a pay campground on the other side of the tower too, but it wouldn't be the same experience.

You're gonna need a tent. No dogs allowed.
