Hello Hello All,

I am going to be leaving North Carolina in the upcoming weeks, most certainly by the end of February, with a very flexible course heading west with the final destination of the Yosemite Valley. Ideally sticking further south in the warm climes would be nice, but I do not mind straying further north if need be or if anything interesting comes up. I plan on climbing at various locations along the way with certain big objectives, such as extended layover in Zion to attempt various big walls and get in a good amount of aid and free climbing, then work my way up from Southern Cali to Yosemite, hitting up various locations. Essentially I am game for anything and have very little planed except for the idea of getting in a ton of climbing, hitting up some Dropzones along they way and overall having a enjoyable and exciting journey from one shore to the other.

In conclusion I am offering a rideshare and climbing partner for any portion of the trip, partial or total is fine by me. I have a very flexible schedule and driving route so if you have any suggestions I am all ears. I drive a E-250 Cargo van named Abbey so I have space for a few people and a ton of gear so no need worry about space. Experience in trad lead climbing and aid would be awesome but totally not necessary, however what is necessary is a Positive Mental Attitude, open mind and radical pursuit of adventure!!!

Feel Free to PM me anytime with questions or if your interested in joining forces for a epic rock'athon of a roadtrip!!

Blue Skies,

Mike HOlley

How long are you going to be on your trip for?

Man, I'm planning the exact same trip for May. Let me know if your dates happen to get pushed back a bit... haha. Or if you're still out there in May.

20 Kn: Its a one way trip for me, I work seasonally out in San Francisco. So to answer your question the entire road trip out to and including Yosemite will be roughly until Late April/May

Mary: I work out in San Francisco over the summer, but have loads of free time so we should certainly link up while your out here!! It always nice to meet new climbing partners!

Well I start my climbing trip in Boulder in the beginning of March. In April I plan to do a wall in Zion. Not sure where you will be at that point.

Well shoot, if you guys are looking for climbing partners, I'm always happy to climb with fellow North Carolinians out here in Yosemite.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
