Can we get those in UTM coordinates please?

You guys should walk the tracks together then let Eric know and draw a map. Not sure if it is or is not outside of the scope of his new guide, but it would be great to get it All worked out.

Here's the location from Michael's coords: google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=…

It's about 0.8 mi from the pullout area by the quarry, and seems to be a little past halfway up to the mouth of the Relien Ravin drainage.

Does this look like one of your lines James? The neighboring flow was only about 100 ft or so to the south of this one.

EB,
facebook.com/superioriceclimbs

Landmann is working on an updated Superior Ice right now that will cover the region. I am not sure of the scope of his book, but i do know it will be a "select" to the region to keep the printing costs down. We will all know more this weekend at the MI ice fest when he does a 7pm friday night presentation about the book.

Also, Carter Stitch is working on a Guide to the ice in Minnesota that will cover every drop of water that he knows about. You guys should connect! with your ice going up along the river, and all the ice in those gullies north of you along 61, there are fun things to climb!

Map showing the "in-question" routes at Wyalusing.

Erol and I did Le Petit Ravin in its entirety yesterday. Now that I have the coordinates, it is much further down than the tracks than I thought.

Erol also led the falls at Pictured Rock Cave, which is located in what I would call "The Park Proper" - so I've included that on the map too, as well as an approximate location for The Relien Ravine.

As soon as Erol gives me a name, I'll post a description for the falls at Pictured Rock Cave. It was the best thing we climbed all day - and arguably one of the better routes I've seen in the park itself - here is a pic to whet your appetite in the mean time.

Gokul, I think the thing you and Michael did was an entirely independent line.

I think there is actually a ton of potential within the park to be discovered, or at least re-discovered...Git on it!

Very cool!

Yeah, I bet there's plenty more at the park, and it looks like this has been a good season for ice to form at Wyalusing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
