We are looking to buy a house in Eldorado Springs. Does anyone have the inside scoop on where to look for any houses for sale? Or know anyone that is selling?

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated.

Nancy Denison (Bodin Realty) represents a lot of the Eldo sellers; hers would come up in standard MLS searches. You can also try driving around town or the message board at the Eldo post office for any for sale by owner places.

Advice: Try to find a place that has transferrable rights to the springs' water; otherwise expect to pay a ton of money (I seem to remember it's $70K one time fee + $30K/yr) to buy in or haul your own.

Not much comes up in Eldo for sale and it's usually an inside job as to scoring it. The locals tend to hold onto it once you score since if you ever decide to sell you might not get back in. That said stuff does come up. Talk to the locals and keep lookin! Peace
Note : half the properties have Eldo spring water on site and half have well water.

Ive been performing home inspections and energy audits for 10 yrs, buy a house you know how much your going to be spending on utilities first, an audit models the cost and tells you what to passively fix. I can also perform radon tests. Lots of high levels in eldo fyi- mitigation systems can cost up to $3k
