Broke both his feet, ankles, legs and coccyx. Ouch! That must have been a very long seven months of recovery.

Seems like an avoidable accident.

I'm not trying to hate on the people or their adventure, but why did they have the guy with the broken feet, ankles, and legs jug? Simple self rescue skills could have made this a lot less painful for the injured, and easier to execute. Hopefully we can all take this video as a warning, and be more diligent about keeping all of our skills and instincts, including rescue, dialed.
Props to the guy for going down to help his buddy. Nothing worse than the "Sit tight, help is on the way" attitude/response/feeling.
Best of wishes to all involved.

That looked like an awesome jump spot. It sucks he got hurt, but the age old saying "Look before you leap" applies here.

Looked like a great rescue, but I'm also wondering why he was jugging. Setting up a haul system at the anchor might have worked better. /mmqb

He should have just jumped he would have been fine... stepping off due to nerves is what got him.

Somehow I think there are going to be more and more of these incidents ...

There already ARE. There's even a name for it, "Fails". Doh!

music and rope jump videos can make anything seem "cool"

even accidents ... its a wonder of modern social media

with the proper editing anything can seem cool

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
