I just got back from Pha Tang to check it out and the white limestone cliff looks amazing!
Now I just need a partner and I'll be ready to go. The climbing was totally protected from
the rain so the weather's not an issue here. I'll be here for a few weeks so let me know if
you are coming into town. My email is jazzfan1987@gmail.com and facebook is Josh Bently

Someone please climb with this guy before he breaks his leg drunkenly cliff-jumping with louts on holiday.

I didn't want to start a thread of my own since the subject is the same and I'd be interested to hear how was the climbing in Vang Vieng lately. Is it more quiet now? Any access issues? Bolts status?
I'm in Laos from February, 20. Is anybody climbing in Vang Vieng (or Luang Prabang maybe).
Thakhek is not a problem, there is a lot of people there.
Cheers,
Dan

I, too, would be interested in the integrity of the bolts.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
