Parking for Bristol, VT Ice Climbing?

The title pretty much says it all.

From what I've heard the climbing access is fine but there aren't any great parking options. Does anyone know where the best place to park would be to access the ice flows in Bristol, VT?

The latest info I can find is from 2012. Is parking at the Kilburn's still kosher?

Thanks!

Your best bet is to bring a steel snow shovel and shovel out the parking spot on the west side of the road accross from the brown house.

Awesome, thanks. That's totally doable.

some years when folks stayed on top of it there was room for 3 cars in there.

Thanks for the info, Nick. We got permission to park at the Kilburn's. It turned out to be an incredible day. There is far more ice there than I realized...

I still think its a good idea to keep that spot shoveled. Dose not take too many cars to block their driveway.

Anyone know what the situation is this winter? Is shoveling out a space across from the brown house still the best option?

Still the same as ever. I parked at the Kilburn's spot this year but shoveling out the space(s) across the street works as well. I know it's been shoveled but we've certainly gotten snow since I was there a few weeks ago. If parking at the Kilburn's, as long as you are well positioned you can park at the bottom of the driveway without any risk of blocking their way.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
