I posted updates in the access info:

But in short, it's open conditionally. It took the community years to reopen the area, but we finally made it.

Take a look at some of the photos of the choss:

That's great news! I only climbed there once but it was very nice. Glad the local climbers have their best crag back.

It looks pretty nice. Volcanic I take it? I know you have a very tiny limestone area, too. Glad you got your groove back.

I climbed there every weekend for a year and half. It's a great crag with amazing views. I'm looking forward to being able to return and send some old projects. Congrats on the reopening.

Hey 20kN, looks like s-steel bolts in the photos. I don't know how long the area has been closed, but has anyone inspected the bolts lately? After a long fight, it'd suck to have the area closed again because of a broken bolt accident.

The photo of me in blue on the second photo? That's a .12d that has only been sent maybe four times. No one climbs the thing except me and my old partner, and recently one new guy. However, we were in fact in the middle of replacing the bolts on that route right as the crag got closed. We have about 95% of the SS bolts replaced with titanium and we are working on the remaining now that it just reopened.

The bolt in the 5th photo has already been replaced I think. Some of these photos are four years old.
