Just moved here - climbing partners/ info on Mt. Charleston ice

I'm new to Las Vegas and am looking for rock and ice climbing partners.I just started leading sport (5.7) and can follow up to 5.10 usually. I would like to climb more moderates and get some more leads in but I really enjoy working on routes that are at/above my limit. I will also happily swap belays and belay you on whatever route you want. I have some goals for the summer and would really like to get better at crack climbing.

I would like to find a spot to TR ice. If anyone knows of a spot where TR soloing is possible please let me know! Also, if anybody wants to climb ice together that would be even better. I would also be down for trips to good ice.

If we climb together and figure out that we're on the same page I would love to do some multipitch climbs. I'm an attentive belayer and am safety oriented and would like the same in a partner. My number is 443-791-6399 feel free to text or call.

I am free to climb Jan 1st- 4th and next week. After that I will probably only have Saturday night and Sundays off.

I just posted in another thread about the local ice. Not a lot of it around here. Best bet is to go up to Utah where you can find some cool stuff around Cedar City and even a few hidden gems in Zion. Sounds like they're in right now.

I'm always looking for ice partners as well so feel free to shoot me an email. Weekends typically work for me as well.

I too, am interested in ice climbing. I'm off thursday friday. Sadly, it seems that the ice up at Charleston hasn't formed recently.
