Thinking about buying a bivy bag. Anyone with great or terrible experience with a particular model/brand they care to share?

I have an Integral Designs "hooped bivy" that I've had for years. Its still in great shape and has probably seen 100 days of use total in lets say a dozen years. So it doesn't see allot of use each year yet its never let me down.

A similar product is still available.

EDIT - its been used primarily in cold to very cold conditions with a gore-tex down bag.

Depends a lot on why and where you want to use it:

Alpine bivy setups
FIRST TIME MOUNTAINEERING, GEAR SUGGESTIONS
Can't choose a bivi bag for the Alps
SOL "Escape" Bivy

I've used/using an OR Deluxe Bivy, now called Alpine bivy and a BD BetaLight.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
