HI everyone,
I was wondering if anyone would have some advice regarding bouldering destination within an hour or two of raleigh.

Thanks!

Moore's
Asheboro (need to be a CCC member, but well worth joining just to go here)

Both are stellar boldering. Moore's tends to be steeper and edge-ier while Asheboro has a lot of slopers and rounder bouldering and cracks. Asheboro is only good when it is cold, basically a winter only area. Moore's has a printed guidebook available that is very good. There is no guide for Asheboro. Both are awesome.

I think it is a min. of $25 for a year CCC membership. Well worth it. Moore's has more stuff though, so if you have the time it is probably your best bet.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
