Salem, OR Partners? Beta? Relocating soon and would like to meet some fellow climbers

I have recently been offered a job in Salem, OR and am relocating from Portland. Can anyone fill me in on some info about the climbing community out there?

There isn't a lot of quality stuff in the general area, until you get past Eugene. I live in Lebanon, and I still prefer to drive up to Portland area, or go to Smith. I probably make the drive once a week, let me know if you are interested. I'm also working on developing some new sport routes down in this area, probably have some up by summer.
If you like adventure climbing, there is lots of that out east of you.
Bouldering wise, the Garden has some really good lines. Not a ton, but will keep you busy for a few trips at least, and is worth a trip.
