Cathedral Ledge - Falcons and Overnight Parking?

Planning a trip to NH in the spring - The falcon guidebook mentions route closures in the spring on the Barber Wall of Cathedral. I've been unable to find any recent information on these closures, and I do see people ticking these routes in the spring. Does anyone know if these are still typical, the routes affected, and the typical dates the closure runs?

Second question - Are there any areas in the Conway area to safely park overnight? We don't need a campsite, just someplace to park for 8 hours and sleep in the back of the van. I was planning to head to the nearest walmart as they typically welcome RV's/overnight parking, but the one in North Conway has prohibited this.

I seem to recall a lot of pulloffs north of Conway heading toward the notch, mostly hiking parking lots but certainly feasible for a van. In a pinch that's probably a 'safe' bet.

But don't be surprised if a LEO inspects your van at 2am with a really bright flashlight. And don't be surprised if you are rousted and possibly ticketed by said LEO if s/he discovers you sleeping in the van.

You probably wouldn't run into issues if you parked at the Fourth Iron campsite on 302 headed to Crawford notch.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
