.... and looks like another pitch that will be terrifying to follow haha. This is like climbings version of the Super Bowl!

29 & 12b... he just clipped a bolt (left side of video) which is the one below the 12b on p29 on yosemitebigwall.com/free-da….

He has to go up and right along that seam... read last time they did these pitches was 4 years ago. So ya they're tring to figure it out... again. He goesm over to the seam on right then down climb it to anchors for the 13a ptich.

Hard to tell from the topo, but I think this is the end of pitch 29. Haven't seen any anchor bolts yet that would indicate he moved on to 30.

I think those with the best seat in the house are the likes of Warren Harding, Chuck Pratt & a host of "Those That Were There First" (aid or otherwise -- doesn't matter), invisibly hovering in their own port-a-ledge palace, completely digging this whole thing.

Warren Harding on the last pitch of the Dawn Wall, 1970.

Morgan and Lanky thanks for the clarification, it'll be fun to watch them try to figure out the 13a pitch then based on what we've seen so far.

Man I hope they can handle the last 40 feet of 3rd class climbing to the top. After all that time on the vertical it might be too flat. I would hate to see one of them trip and to redo the lead.

I thought that was Kev? Climber now is following, right? And I'm almost positive that's Tommy cause he was wearing a Nano Air before

Is KJ finishing up 29 right now? I'm not amazing at reading topos.

Pretty sure TC has led both pitches while KJ has followed. They just finished pitch 30 I believe. P31, 13a is up next. 2 left!

Not going to lie watching him stick that after 4 tries was pretty rad.

Agreed. When i first saw the thread and live feed i thought "Lame.. i aint got time to sit and watch all that..". And here I am.. an hour later.. watching.

Well it may be 5.13 but at least he has 20lbs of the world's lightest climbing gear hanging off him.

I'm anticipating that tomorrow employers across america will look back at today and wonder why there was such a large decrease in productivity.
