lost trad rack in Jtree at The real hidden valley

I left a set of cams and nuts at the bottom of a climb in the real hidden valley. I think it was at the battom of hidden tower but it could have been sports challenge. The cams were black diamond C4's and the nuts were DMM's. They were identified with grey tape.
Thanks

Ouch! I left 1 can behind and don't know how. Good luck! With that much gear someone may speak up. Maybe call the climbing shop too.

yes. left a note at nomads and with the rangers. Hope is lost at this point but I didn't let it ruin my trip. just had to be a little more conservative with gear and do shorter routes.

I couldn't possibly hold onto anything like that. Whoever found it should turn it in, earn good karma and make a strangers day! I live in the bay and am looking for another person to climb with in the sierras. Have double rack to share if you're interested till you rebuild.

Hey Paul,

Got your gear. Email me your phone # and I'll give you a call. We'll be in San Fran at the end of the month and maybe we can meet up then.

Cheers!

Chris

Nice! Poached gear is the most likely to blow out anyway ;)

Good work! I love selflessness. I wonder what happens to climbers who climb with someone new.......share gear....mix up gear......then keep gear accidentally or intentionally.......BAD MF KARMA thats what! When you get home and notice you have someone else's gear what do you do..........some climbers keep the gear and wonder why they are experiencing a heavy conscience....its because they were acting just like a thieving whore! People who steal......watch out.Karma may be a little more of a bitch than you!

I guess there are always exceptions to the rule.

Paul, you must have a good Karma story connected to the loss of your cams at j-tree?

Mike,
I guess it might have been helping out some newbies to the area figure out camping outside the park until our site was ready, but I can't imagine I deserved this. I am overjoyed to be getting the gear back.

Paul, sounds like great karma to me.......a lesser person would have totally kept that stuff. Nice moves! It would be nice to see more climbing unity.

hey nudie!,
The man behind the curtain is the community we participate in and the community we make.
Cheers,
You post made me smile.
I've had a lot of good good deeds get punished and i kind of follow that line of thought. I'm a skeptic, but my mind is changing and i'm becoming a little less skeptical and cynical towards a few members of the human race, lately.
Climbing naked must be a german thing.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
