Extensor Tendon Laceration

While working on the car the wrench popped off a bolt causing my hand to slam into a piece of metal cutting through the skin and between 25-50% through the Extensor Tendor(on the Second Knuckle of the Middle Finger). Stitches come out next week but I am wondering when I can start getting excited to pull on rock again?

Bouldering? Should I limit it to ropes only?
I'm just looking for ideas.

at least its winter, right?

Oh c'mon, I know there has got to be a doctor or two on this site who has some ideas...
