Red Rocks Tent Space.....Offered

If you are traveling through Vegas on your way to or from any Climbing destination my home can be your crash pad... located 10 miles from Red Rocks Canyon....available is a backyard with tent spaces available and a pool....aka the lake....Inside I have one room and plenty of floor space for sleeping bags and/or tents. How much do you charge?

Just donate and contribute as you can. If you have no money in your budget that's fine. If you are an eccentric multi millionaire who can't stand staying out of connection with the rest of us dirt bag climbers...well just follow your heart. It will always tell you what's right!

I'd be interested in hearing some reviews from people who take him up on the offer.
Aside from that, this sounds great. As a frequent guest at the BLM campground I would be psyched to find an alternative. Planning another trip in early March, if the offer still stands and others find it to be all that you say it is, I'll be in touch.

I'm at his place right now and it's 100% as stated. I'm the only guest here (and therefore have the guest bedroom to myself) but the place can accommodate a few people. Coming back to a warm house with a hot shower, wifi, washing machine refrigerator, and mattress is way better than staying at the BLM. I did offer to cook him breakfast and dinner during my stay, which he accepted. I guess my point is that Mansur's offering a phenomenal (i.e. free) deal that shouldn't be abused. He's contributing to traveling climbers, and I'm hoping his future guests will reciprocate.

He will also partner with you for climbs. He's just getting back into it, so you'll need to be his rope gun. That being said, he maintains a high stoke level and didn't complain when a dropped ATC led to a mini epic.

TLDR, I would stay and climb with Mansur again. Good guy, don't be a dick to him.

Whoa, nice endorsement! Sounds ideal. Thanks for taking the time to write. I'll be contacting this guy for sure. Now we just have to hope that climbers don't fuck it up and trash the place thereby ruining this great opportunity....

I stayed at Mansurs place for a week and it was great. He's a very nice genuine guy and if I come though red rocks again I'll be sure to get in touch with him. Staying at Mansurs with heat, WiFi and showers sure beats camping in the wind and cold.

I also crashed for a few nights. Great guy and great place! Nothing beats a kitchen, heat, showers, and wifi! Will definitely be in touch if I'm through Vegas again. Thanks man!

Just a tip, ICYDK, one can rap with just a locker and munter. Twist the hell out of the rope, and is a littler harder on the sheath, but can save you in a pinch like dropping your tube. Good report though. I dig it!

That's kinda gross and fairly rude but yeah, any one staying please feel free to check the bathrooms for any thing you would like. I have extra toothbrushes, soap, shampoo for guests. :)

A friend of mine stayed with the gentleman recently and said to be sure to check back when the temps are warmer. Word is Mansur makes the finest lemonade this side of the Mississippi. No joke.
