Ladies' alpine/ice pants?

Would love to know, gals (and guys): WHO IN THE WORLD makes a good ice climbing pant?

I see so many great ski pants on the market, but they're just way too baggy. I'm not talking about style here; I'm talking about not crampon-mauling the pants every time I kick.

Where should I look for softshell, insulated, streamlined pants that are great for alpine and ice? The Merrell softshell pants I've been using for three years are finally beginning to wear out (thumbs up, Merrell!)

Thanks for any input.

I wear these for ice climbing and winter hiking:

I've had them for four years and really like them. The thigh vents are really great for dumping heat. Even though the legs flare, it's not excessive. I think I have a crampon snag or two in them, but I think it's more my inability to move in crampons as opposed to the style of the pants.

Check out the new women's line from Black Diamond. I use the men's Dawn Approach Pants for ice and am very happy with them. I can't imagine the women's line being all that different :-)

Thanks for the input, folks! In further research I've also had some big recommendations of Haglofs gear, so will be checking those out as well.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
