Missing Cat at Red Rock Campground

Paging Zach... |

I love crag cats! They seem to be so rare. But my bf's close friend had Norm......one of the coolest crag kitties ever. So glad your Figgy was found....she's beautiful. |

Thanks, splitclimber! I was worried about bothering everyone in sight about a missing cat. |

Kat, we met you at the campground, we were in back of old chevy truck. I am so glad you found her! she looks sweet. I had a road trip cat, went from Seattle to Ouray to NY and back. She loved the desert, especially Smith rock. I am also glad you seemed to be spared the asshole MP forum attack. |

This is the best story Ive read on MP yet! It was great to read a happy ending too. |

I adopted three four week old kittens after their mom was run over. I was going to find everyone homes but kept them after paying the crazy high vet bill. I still have all three and would like to take them outside if possible. Any advice?First, get them comfortable in their harnesses. My cat loves going on short walks near home. She gets really excited when I grab her leash and harness. That said, she gets stressed too far from home, so I can't take her climbing. At least not yet. I don't think just any cat can be a crag cat. |

Wow, this is ridiculous, but my eyes got misty reading this. |

I'm going give it a try after everybody gets checked out and made sure their shots are up to date by the vet. Thanks again! |

You know what those cats need? |
|
Now did the lady who found the cat have every right to keep it under booty rules or was the cat too far away from the climb? |

She looks like a cool kat, glad you got her back. I've lost a couple of cats to foxes and coyotes it sucks. |

I'd say this article pertains to this thread very much. It's titled, "Cats at the Crag." Enjoy. |

Maybe there would be less singles with their crag cats out climbing if that climbing dating website was launched? |

I've also wondered that if crag cats become common place, will I one day find myself tying in and have a cat pounce and claw at the end of my rope, or jump onto the lead line snaking up the rock? |

Thanks, Geoff! And thanks, everyone. |
