On 7/8/15 I took Peter Gersten, age 73, up this route. He's been to the hiker's summit 350+ times and has taken over 1000 people up there, but this was his first trip to the true summit. He'd only climbed once before, 20 years ago in a gym in New York.

2 bolt anchor about 30' up the climb. The right bolt looks to be mixed metals. Hmmmm.
Yes, there really is a bolt with a wing nut on this climb.
Evidence that this was climbed before modern cams and sticky rubber. Those old school climbers were bada**. Btw, this piton still appears solid. Use at your own risk! Fortunately there's ample natural pro nearby.
