Took a trip up to Trammy finally this past weekend. The tiny bit of snow we hiked around in got my psyche up for getting into the mountains in any shape or form. Anyway, Im sure there's some AT skiers or Split boarders out there in the area itching for some turns and getting out town. Coming up over the next few months ( depending on conditions) I hope to be getting up to places like Tramway/ San Jacinto- Waterman ( if it ever opens again) Mammoth back country... anywhere the white stuff falls and the bros don't goes.

I know its early, but hey, one has to dream big and plan well.

G, you already know I'm down. I hear Baldy's fun when it gets a little snow.

Mini report on Mammoth back country... Took a ski tour from the end of the road by Twin Lakes... Up the Tamarack skin trail, past Lake George and up the ridge to Red Cone bowl. That part of the mountain is holding plenty of snow and was a powdery blast ski descent! 6 miles round trip, 1000 ft elevation gain. Zero complaints on conditions!

Red Cone Approach / Crystal Crag

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
