Can you recommend some crags in Tahoe that stay dry during light rain? Hwy 80 or 50, bolts or gear, 5.10-11 (anomaly, I know)?

Thanks in advance

There's a gym in Truckee! I don't know if it's all that dry though. Was a little dank last I was in there;)

Some of the first pitches on Dear John wall at the Leap might stay dryish, provided the rain isn't too heavy. Maybe.

Or you can fly your ass back to the east coast and hang with all of your super-cool buddies, and we'll find some steep stuff at the New -- where it always rains.

There's very little that is actually dry in the rain up in Tahoe, as the majority of climbing is predominantly close-to-vertical granite. I was climbing at Star Wall at Donner earlier in the season during a rain storm, but everything higher elevation is snowed out now. Why not check out the steeper Sonora areas, i.e. Gold Wall, Grotto, and Jailhouse.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
