Arc'teryx Drop Hood?

I am considering getting an Arc'teryx Beta AR jacket but I'm not sure if I'm sold on the "Drop Hood". Do any of you out there who own Arc'teryx jackets with this style hood have any thoughts?

What would you realistically be using it for? If it's just an around town jacket you'll probably be fine with a beta lt which has a storm hood just does not have the n80p-x reinforcements, if you're looking for a jacket with both the reinforcements and the storm hood I recommend the alpha AR which has both but does have alpine pockets which can be a turn off to people, I have it and I love it
