Info request Phoenix Area

Hi all,
In an effort to spice up family vacation, I'm hoping to get them out climbing for a day in the Phoenix area around New Years time. I haven't been here before! Can anybody recommend me areas that would have the following characteristics:
- easy to stay out of the way of other climbers
- has single pitch sport or toproping routes, probably 5.10 or easier
- is a short(ish) hike from parking :/
Could probably travel as far away as Prescott or so.

McDowells are great just be aware unless you are experienced on desert granite (jtree) the ratings will feel STIFF like at least +1 sometimes +2

The ratings at Sven Slab are softer rather than stiffer. Your may run into like minded folks lookingfor the same thing.

There are no sport routes but there are routes to top rope and lead at Sven Slab.
