Sir, please respect that we're also the #1 brandy consuming state in the union. That said, have you found nothing here that you can climb? Is our quartzite too slick? Our sandstone too gritty? Our boulders too bouldery?

Here's what I'm feeling right now for my top-10-under-5.10:
1) Brinton's Crack
2) Swiss Cheese
3) Lost Face
4) Birch Tree Crack
5) Kings Throne
6) Queens Throne
7) Stuck Knee
8) Peter's Project
9) Air
10) Curving Crack

No disrespect to bolters at the hollow, but I can't believe anyone would think Swiss cheese is in the top 10. Hydroponics was way better than Swiss cheese. I can barely remember climbing Swiss cheese and i wasn't drunk at all.

For me, it's a heady start followed by fun, positive moves up slabby patina that is pretty unique for Wisconsin.

Since I haven't been on Hydroponics yet, it can't make my list. I'll take this as a challenge to on site it when I'm up there next spring (unless we get a good thaw day yet this year).

Aside from the stellar climbing on the main face (which is pretty unique compared to the rest of the state), I have many memories associated with this route from my days at UWSP...call me nostalgic I guess.

OK, that was uncalled for. Violating guideline #1 I suppose. I retract.

I think you are well within Guidline #1 Eggs. You are entitled to both have an opinion and express it...even if it is dead wrong. :-)

If you ever see me with a huge knot on my head, it's because I made the mistake of saying this *out*loud* to my wife ... just a warning to you young fellas out there.

We'll find out, now.

Back on topic...I'm still waiting for someone to tally up the votes for the best routes and create a consensus list. James?

Birthday crack , Lost Temple corner, Family Jewels, Hive, Curving crack, Petes Nemesis, Bloodshed, Double Jeopardy Cracks, Rock Garden/Garden Path, Brintons, Coatimundi Crack are a few at DL.
Several more over by the ammo plant but no-names that I know of.
South bluff has relics of old dlfa's partying and some great views of the area. Worth at least 1 trip over there!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
