Adding a carabiner loop to gloves?

So I have a bunch of gloves I use for alpine/ice climbing, but few of them have carabiner loops on the fingers.

Has anyone played around with adding these to gloves so that, when clipped to a harness, they hang "hand hole" down? (see pictures below to get an idea of what I'm looking to add to gloves)

I have a few ideas about how I might do this, but I'm curious if anyone's made a similar mod to their own gloves.

I should note I'm about as effective with a needle and thread as a one legged climber in an ass kicking contest.

Look for a pleat or fold on top of the finger to sew onto. Be careful here because most gloves have a WPB membrane sewn in between the shell and liner, you want to avoid piercing this and ruining the water resistance.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
