Torque Spec On This Bolt?

Title says it all, came across it today and it was loose. I intend to go back asap and tighten it up. I was able to give it a little tightening with my ATC but i'm sure it needs a little more. Haven't placed climbing bolts but know enough to realize that under or over-torqued is dangerous. The nut was loose enough that I could have removed it by hand. Someone with more knowledge than I care to comment on the torque spec? I have a torque wrench.

FWIW this is the bolt you would fall on if you whipped on the crux of Afterburner at Vista Verde Crag in Taos, NM.

25 foot pounds/35 Nm.

Hard to tell if that is 1/2" or not. If it's 1/2", 60 foot pounds. If it's 3/8", 28 foot pounds. Those are the torque specs for the Power-Stud.

It's definitely 3/8", so 25 or 28 ft/lbs?

Assuming this is a power stud see page 2 of this .pdf:

Assuming that is an expansion bolt, then my understanding is that the torque specification is important on initial installation to set the expansion section properly. If the nut has come loose, you don't want to exceed the maximum torque, but you don't need to reach that level when tightening it back down to hold the hangar on. Hand-tight with a small wrench (carrying a small adjustable wrench when sport-climbing isn't a bad idea for just this reason) should be fine.

Just tighten it up with a wrench until it's snug. You could also put a bit of loctite on if it's a chronic thing. Loose hangers are different than loose bolts.

Ok, thanks everyone!
