Easily the best off road stroller with the most amount of options. I used the ski attachments getting me kid to huts. However they are not cheap.

Second for the bob, we're working on the fourth kid in ours, we never do main thence on it and except for a little sun fading its good as new

Those Thule kid carriers look nice. But how do they attach to the roof of the car?

I have the cougar chariot 2 (I have twins). Chariot is now owned by Thule. I got mine with the jog wheel attachment (highly recommended for off road burliness) on Craigslist for less than $200. It was basically brand new. Don't pay retail for this new as you can find plenty of used ones for cheap. I haven't used the bike trailer attachment yet, but bought the adapter from Thule. I'm also looking forward to the ski attachment, which my friend uses with his two girls and raves about.

I like using this in the city, esp on long urban walks, but my wife prefers the less bulky City Mini.

We had a cougar 2 four our twins. Used it for over four years straight. My wife even taught a stroller workout class with it, so it was used a lot! In my opinion it depends on what you will do with it. I think the chariots are better than the burleys as they have shocks. The burleys ride rougher. The BOBs are nice but you can only hike with it. If you intend to try and bike while you are out there, the Chariot is the best choice. We put hundreds of miles on ours. Definitely check Craigslist. We bought ours for $450 ($689 new), we sold it four years later for $200.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
