If a group of 12 can get organized and to the base an hour before you... Maybe it isn't their fault they beat you to it!
Drove all the way from Denver with no back-up route in mind?
Assume the whole world knows what you want to climb and when?
Gang bangs suck... but they are inevitable. We recently were only 10 minutes in front of a guided group of 4. If they had been in front of us we would have just chosen a different route. Why do some people think that they are holy and everyone else is a dipshit beginner?
Typical front range whining "ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME ME DAMMIT!!!!!"

The large tribe thing is a Col-Rad trademark so find it ironic that this thread was started by colrad complaining about group size. i have made conscious choice not to climb in Colorado in hopes that one of them would not climb in Utah. You know that Yin and yang thing. I have yet to find someone to balance that out with cuz Col-rad routes just don't inspire people like the routes in Utah. If they just acted a little more humble and did not show-up in the large tribes maybe we would not comment on the stark difference between the two cultures (UTARD vs. COL-RAD)?

I'll just quote myself again to save time.
"Didn't a ton of the towers get put up initially by people from Colorado? And what wasn't is rounded out by people again NOT from Utah.
