Hello,

I am going to be moving to Bishop December 1st and I am having a very hard time finding any good housing leads. I don't know anyone in the area so I need some help! I have looked in the Sierra Reader, the Inyo Register, and the Cold Well Banker website. Does anyone know of a room or studio/1 bedroom available?

Thanks very much!

Hi... Just yesterday, I was at the great basin bakery... they had a few flyers on the wall..... maybe give them a call.

Lots of Bishop types are pretty old fashioned... they use ball point pens.

Get psyched for climbing!! One of the best locations in the world for it.....not so many social activities but who cares with all that Sierra stone! Good luck

Thanks Guy! I am driving down this weekend so I will check it out. I really appreciate the word of mouth and pen and paper approach because I grew up in a small town but it sure is difficult to find a place from San Francisco. Nick, I am not a very seasoned climber so I guess this will be a good opportunity to learn in a beautiful environment!

Thanks very much!

Also check the bulletin boards at Wilson's and the Black Sheep. They're all walking distance from Great Basin.
