So,it has been a crazy year.My daughter moved to san diego but thank the world she is moving back to colorado!!!!!!!!!!!!I would love to further introduce her to the world of climbing. She is 6 and is suspect of the rope.i would never dream of pushing it too far.i was hoping to get her out with some other youngsters.no serious agenda for her. she loves other kids and the outdoors. my kid will return the beginning of november and i am psyched to get us out! it would be cool to start up some sort of regular thing. somewhere near golden would be ideal.

I am also looking to get my son (7) out climbing. Around Golden would be great. N. Table, Earth Treks gym, or in CCC with safe approach. Send me a PM when you are ready to schedule something.

mike, i've no kiddos of my own, but i'm a montessori elementary teacher and spent my summers guiding kids climbing, week long overnight teen rock climbing camps, and boy scouts at the new river gorge in west virginia. before that i was a route setter and jr. climbing team coach at peak experiences climbing gym in richmond, virginia. so, to cut to the chase, i enjoy working with kiddos, absolutely love getting them outdoors especially climbing, and am pretty much psyched beyond belief to encourage and help get girls and women out and climbing! (i was also a girly guide for sterling rope & chicks climbing girly gathering.)

we've climbed together once before i do believe. i had never aided bits nor used an etrier. my friends call me safety sass. (as perhaps you may remember.)

anyway, feel free to give a shout. like i said, i'd be psyched to get a girly out climbing and bring some positive female presence to the crag. i thank the universe for my climbing mentors, and show my gratitude by continually paying it forward.

hope to hear from you soon.

cheers!

I have a five and 1/2 years old that has climbed before, but mostly bouldering, he is a bit wary of the rope as well.

I would love to join you and take him climbing.

Simone.

Hello, still looking for a place fro the ex and my daughter...the place they had lined up was super lame....My daughter would love to go bouldering though...she is in first grade and loves hanging with other kids.... if the weather is good or on the weekend.....like today. Apt hunting may take priority though......
