I'm looking to get a burn on some overhanging sport routes or do some moderate trads to keep my strength up throughout the winter. Also interested in low grade ice with easy approach if nothing else.
p.s. ATTENTION ADMINISTRATORS: (to avoid unnecessary chain yanking and therefore wasting of cyberspace) I did my homework and found a couple of cool areas nearby. This post is to initiate a discussion based on personal experiences regarding the subject.

32 world wall. Overhanging sport, lots too hard for me but likely one of few possible dry places in "light" rain nearby. I only heard some guys while at the crag saying one of the particular routed was a good place to lap in the rain.

38 nevermind?
I'd just go to vantage. Probably my first choice for winter climbing in WA.

The Tooth is supposed to have a route people like in the snow. Not sure if it gets any ice. But plenty of people hike out and do a few laps year round for bigger mountain practice.

Yep. Frenchmens coullee is pretty much it. Climb Trad on the Mid-East wall, lots of great routes on good rock there, you'll even be able to use those #5 and #6's that just sit around collecting dust. don't even look at the feathers, they are disgusting and not worth anyone tims.

As already mentioned, Frenchman's Coulee at Vantage is your best option for winter rock climbing in WA...it's about 2 hrs from Seattle proper. If that's not close enough then you should consider dusting off your ski's or spending a lot of time and gas money driving around the state searching for ice.

As long as it is 40+ degrees and the wind is less than 15 mph there will be climbable routes here.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
