I'm considering using a few months of time off to solo travel around the county this winter. I'd like to climb as much as possible, and with some research seems like the best place to start for winter climbing is the Tennessee Wall and other nearby areas (I'm coming from upstate NY).
I thought i would just put a feeler out to get a sense of what's likely partner-wise. Is it pretty easy to find partners that time of year? What's the best camping spot for that?
I'm not super experienced trad-wise, but I'm comfortable leading on 8-9s at the gunks. Can lead sport (or follow trad) up to 11-. I'm working on building a modest trad rack and have a rope. If you'll be around in mid-January and would potentially like to climb, shoot me a message!

Hey bud, my partner and I frequent twall a lot over the winter. Mostly Sundays and some Saturdays. There are plenty of people climbing there on the weekends so finding a partner shouldn't be an issue. Idk about week days though. As far as camping goes there's free primitive camping just across the road from the trail head which is on national forest land. Shoot me a message whenever you come down to twall and we can try to meet up.
