Where to climb end of December

I small group of climbers are looking to go someplace in late december. obviously, we're looking for warmer weather. any suggestions? |

HP40, Potrero Chico, days in the UT desert can be quite pleasant (although it's a crapshoot) but nights are pretty cold and desolate no matter what. |

In the southwest US, I love rock climbing in the winter. At the same time, I do so mostly locally - taking advantage of nice weather windows that often come through. Farther trips with significant investment? I save those for the other seasons. |

You'll get people telling you how you can be a victim of crime in the US (true, but not like Mexico) and if you do this or that you will be fine in Mexico, but...there's enough good climbing elsewhere. |
