Hello,
I'm thinking of heading to Portrero Dec 20 - Jan 5. I went there a couple winters ago and had a blast. I'm going down there solo, and am looking to connect with other climbers. I have a rope and draws… can lead up to a 10a, and am experienced in multi-pitching.

Hey Rachel,

My trip is not yet 100% defined but it could work quite well.
I'll be climbing in the south west until Dec 16 with a friend (dates are fixed). I will then meet another friend in Potrero at the beginning of January (date not fixed yet).
My first idea was to go to Potrero from Los Angeles on the 16th, either via Hueco Tanks, or directly and meet people there.
It could be great to climb with you. I just need to have clear plans soon as I need to book my way out of the US before I leave France on Nov 3.
I will have some gear with me too, not quite sure what yet (weight strategy to be discussed with the 2 friends!).

If you're interested and want to discuss more in detail, you can send me an email at fbaffie (at) gmail (dot) com.
Climbingwise I'm consistent in 5.11, I'm experienced with gear and multipitch.

Cheers, Florian (31 too)

Sweet! All you need in Portrero is a rope and a ton of quick draws! No trad gear necessary! Look me up on facebook if you want to chat more!

Rachel,
I am currently on the road climbing through north america. I'm tossing around the idea of climbing mexico around the same time. Ill be in southern cali for the next month or so. Have you found a partner yet?

Hey Thomas,

Are you travelling own your own at the moment?
I'll be climbing in Indian creek around 5-15 Nov. with 2 friends.
If you're looking for someone to climb with, we could look at doing 2 teams.
We all climb up to the low 5.12s (in europe though, prob. not at IC!).

Cheers, Florian

I am climbing Yosemite/needles until my partner leaves on nov 10 then I'm solo. I have some family I will visit then looking to get back into it beginning of December. Depending on how things pan out, ill either be heading down to Mexico or through utah and Colorado. ..

Hi Rachel and whoever else needs a partner,

I'm also looking for a partner in that time frame. I am looking at a 2 week trip between Dec 24 and Jan 7 give or take a day. I haven't bought tickets yet, but I will as soon as I know I have someone to climb with down there.

I have started leading 11's on bolts in New England. I don't do much on gear and would stay under 5.8 when I'm at the Gunks. I wasn't planning on doing much on gear on this trip, though.

So yea whoever needs a partner for all them tall climbs, let me know:
